SportDOG In-Ground Fence™ System

The In-Ground Fence™ System is a simple and cost-effective alternative to a traditional fence. 305 metres of wire, 100 flags and 1 Collar Receiver are included to keep your dog contained in a garden up to 54 ares. The transmitter is powerful enough to cover up to 4,047 ares of land, and you can add an unlimited number of dogs with the purchase of additional Add-A-Dog® Collar (SDF-CR-22). Installation is as simple as burying the wire around the perimeter of your garden and plugging in the transmitter. The Collar Receiver offers 4 levels of static stimulation to match any dogs' temperament, as well as a vibration/tone option.

How does it work?

Fence Transmitter: Sends a radio signal through the boundary wire installed around the containment area.

Collar: As your dog gets close to the wire, the collar picks up the signal and lets out a warning beep and vibration.

Range Adjustment: Control how close your dog can get to the wire by adjusting the fence transmitter's range knob.

Flags: Positioned where your dog gets the warning, flags are optional but suggested for training; they offer a visual signal for your dog.

Static Correction: If your dog keeps going near the wire, the collar gives a static correction to discourage them.

Expandable Coverage

This kit includes 2 rolls of 500 ft. wire and 2 splice kits, covering up to 1 ⅓ acres based on your layout. For larger areas, additional wire and splice kits are required.

Adjustable Correction Levels

The collar gives a beep and a buzz to warn your dog as it gets close to the boundary, no matter the setting. It's already on level 1 when you get it, which is just the beep and buzz. You've got 7 levels of static zaps to pick from, with level 2 being the softest and level 8 the strongest. Check the user guide for how to tweak it.

Multiple Dog Capability

You can add unlimited dogs to the system with additional collars.

Suitable for dogs weighing 10 lbs or more with neck sizes from 5" to 22".

Batteries

Rechargeable lithium-ion batteries charge in 2 hours, with a low battery indicator. Expect 1-2 months of use per charge, depending on boundary testing frequency.
